Ronald "Ron" Stephen Peno, who also performed as Ronnie Pop, is an Australian rock singer, he fronted Died Pretty during 1984–2002;[1][2] and was a member of early Sydney punk band The Hellcats (1977), and followed with The 31st (in Brisbane, 1979–1981) and Screaming Tribesmen (Brisbane then Sydney, 1981–1983).[1][2]
He was born in Gosford, NSW Central Coast.
After Died Pretty, Peno became involved with Darling Downs (2004),[2] then with Died Pretty guitarist/songwriter, Brett Myers' group Noises and Other Voices (2006);[2] he worked on a alt.country collaboration with Kim Salmon.
